Well done, Jia Jie. After so much studying, so much staying in sch, so much looking at TYSes and shit, you stil managed to get a stupid D for math after paying so much for tuition and a god damn U for physics. other people are getting BBC/AAA and well on their way to their distinctions for A Levels and here you are, trying to pass. Idiot.

Well done, Jia Jie.

How to be a real man:-

1)Wear nothing but your underwear.

2)Get a red cape.

3)Get a real cool looking peacock helmet.

4)And get your army to dress exactly like you do.

There you go. Victory guaranteed.

300 proves to be one of the best shows I've ever laid my eyes on, comparably to the LOTR trilogy and whatnot. Nvm that it's M18, it's not my fault that the guy at TPY Eng Wah never check right?

Yes, it's not my fault.

300 talks about an army of 300 Spartans from a city famous for its warrior philosophy, going against an army of over a million Persian troops. To cut a long story short, the Persian army goes through an undeniable hard time defeating the 300 troops, which eventually triggers the whole of the Spartan army to go to war.

Undoubtedly one damn good show, with the Persians trying to kill them Spartans:

wa siao liao!

and vice-versa.

what?

Correction.
The deed was already done in the latter photo. Apparently the Spartans succeeded more that the Persians did.

Nonetheless, the movie is amazing generous with the amount of blood its willing to spill; even the movie title is written in blood:

with the never-ending kills, even the most cool flying-slice:

i can fly!

The Xerxes guy looked quite freaky though.

I HAVE BIG BALLS YEAH

I personally loved this scene:

Ha. Amazing show.

hello hello hello.

I'm very lazy to blog cos I haven't done so in a very long time and there really is nothing to blog about.

I'm really tempted to go for triathlon sprint this year but I'm rather put off by the fact that I still can't do freestyle at all.

Come 21/22 April, I will self-proclaim myself two-thirds a triathlete cause the night of 21st will be spent night-cycling around Singapore(which can easily reach a route of over 100km I heard) and at 5am, find a place to dump my bike, somehow find my way to Henderson CC(God knows where this place is) by 6.30am and start the 10km Mizuno Mt Faber Run(got ascending slopes leh!) with my legs still burning away.

And somehow reach home alive and make it for school the following day.

Ohhhh, I can't wait.

Taken from Roderick's blog.

Rocky Balboa: Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.

You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.

Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!

I think it's okay if parents don't interfere with the kid when he's studying for exams, but I think it's plain infuriating when they make things worse by bothering you with minor matters and making the environment so stupid for studying by quarreling.

It's a concept my parents have yet to understand. Perhaps it's why they like to choose my exam studying periods to go against each other and throw the house into chaos(It was the same for my O Levels and promos). I suppose it's cause they think a noisy and shouting environment is more conducive for studying or they maybe they just think getting As is just as easy as walking out of the house every morning.

Maybe I should just jackpot Us for my block tests and prove them wrong. Than Kwek will become my best friend and I will own the A lvls.

Okay just kidding.

Pass all subjects for block tests. Mission:Impossible.

Screw this econs shit- I give up doing the damn essay.

Screw all this studying, all this chemistry, physics, math and econs concepts I'll never use in future. Screw all this time spent worrying about exams. Screw all this useless mugging- nothing gets into my head anyway. How can anyone study when the J1s are screaming orientation everywhere you go in school anyway?

I swear, this education system is nothing less than being f-ed up. If my dad was printing cash I would have gotten myself into a overseas college. No questions, no hesitation. Just a plane ticket and off I go.

Sadly, my father doesn't earn $20k a month and I only live in a 4-room HDB, so I guess I have to stick with this shit for now.

Shall blog about happier things(don't seem to have much happening lately) when block tests are over.

I NOW KNOW WTF IS FISCAL POLICY, HOW MONETARY POLICY WORKS (I didn't understand the exchange rate policy, so screw it.) But HA! I finally understand smth bout econs!

Okay. Bye.

Dear Ms Jeeva,

If a picture says a thousand words, can I submit one and a half demand-supply graphs in lieu of the 1450 words essay assignment from the last December holidays?

Regards,
Jia Jie

It's rare(almost never) that I blog twice in a day, with a time interval of less than 10 mins at that. But I couldn't resist it. Look above. That's a copy of a tutorial answer sheet uploaded on the school online portal for everyone. Thing is, it didn't come in a Word doc. It's a JPEG image.

That's damn...

Unprofessional.

So I'm supposed to read my answers off an picture?

Should have went to SA. Dammit.

Hello. Long time no see.

I have lots of things I wanna blog about, but I'll probably forget them as I go along.
So let's just see how far I get.

My grandma crashed my house after a little tiff last Sunday with my aunt after my VM. You can imagine my irritation when I got home after not winning a VM to find my room invaded by my sister cos her room was invaded by my grandma.

I guess it's pretty much a responsibility thing. The other house is a condo unit, has a maid, has people at home everyday. My house is a coughtinycough 4 room HDB, no maid and no one at home from 8-6 everyday. I guess it's pretty obvious which is the better choice for an old lady to live in.

I think taking part in the VM in a competitive nature has opened my sights up quite a bit. Don't know why, just feel that way. After everything, I'm not too sore about not winning cos the team was quite a fair bit from top 5. And in any case, they only gave trophies to top 4 teams(all CJ ahem). Makes me wonder if there's some conspiracy involved.

I feel like going osim triathlon relay. Who feels the same way and can cycle and swim, tell me pls.

I passed Chinese. Screw the language for the rest of my life.

I haven't played pool in a very, very, very long time.

There are loads of other stuff I wanna blog about, but I don't have pictures and I hate it when my blog is all words. So let's just forget it.

I'm so going to pass block test.

Or not.
