I would think in a junior college, most students are actually mature enough to think. Recent gossip(lol?) made me feel otherwise.

It's interesting to see how some people place others in such low priority. But that's okay, cos we don't need recognition. Not from you guys, at least. But the final straw comes when people go along uttering blasphemy in an old-school-abstract kind of way. It's quite sad cos I used to respect these people for certain reasons, but maybe I should give my respect to the sweeper that keeps my void deck clean everyday.

Well, what else can I say? A lot of other thoughts run through my mind, but if I plaster all of them out here this post would really become quite vulgar and out of hand and I'd be really tempted to run into the armoury in Amoy Quee, whip out a M-16 and go on a trigger-happy voyage. Okay just kidding.

Well, clubs think. (Read, odaC. C = club) We actually use our brains. That's why no one dies on a mountain somewhere up north and no one gets killed on the roads on a bike at 2am in the morning.

To finish this, let's just say I can't really expect the same effect from others.

Ya, others.

Okay it's okay if this doesn't make sense to you. It'll only make sense to some.

Water PT today. I don't like water. At the end of the day, I think I'm more of a land person than water. I mean, I rather carry a full load (more also can) and go trekking for 8 hours than to swim 30 laps. Lol.

Or run 10km. Or anything.

Cannot lah I must learn to like water! If not how to do Ironman?

Well then again I have other things to worry about. The probability that I'm not going to finish the syllabus for mid years = 1. I haven't even started!

My blog is getting very boring. Agree?

Linkin Park's at the top!

I'm kinda looking forward to the trek on 2 June. After hearing Mr Ong's hour-by-hour description of what happenes to the human body during trek with a full load, I'm quite interested to doing it. Lol. Okay maybe I'm sick.

This video is hilarious.

Ok bye ppl.

My life is pretty boring. Either that, or I can't be really bothered to blog these days.

I just planned my mid years revision (okay I tried to) and I kinda realised I'm fucked cos I will never have the time to finish everything I've learned since I've stepped into nyjc unless I could turn back time to like, April? In which the case I wouldn't start studying by then anyway.

Heh who cares. I've got ATC on 10 June and Saucony PAssion Run! on 8 July. I wanna go kayak, bike, run, swim(okay maybe not swim) and everything else, I just don't wanna study. Zzz.

"I like running because it's challenge. If you run hard, there's the pain - and you've got to work your way through the pain. You know, lately it seems all you hear is 'Don't overdo it' and 'Don't push yourself.' Well, I think that's a lot of bull. If you push the human body, it will respond."

This little poem/long quote/whatever is probably old news by now, but I just wanna post it.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

Stop thinking that you can't and start thinking that you can. And the rest just falls in place.

HA I managed to get my hands on MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT right on the day it was released world-wide. Not like it's a big deal here, but it's still cool lolz.

It was funny while I was walking to Sembawang @ PS cos there was where I reserved my CD. It so happened while I was walking in the guy called me to inform me my CD was here.

*ring ring *
me: Hello?
salesguy: hi Mr Lee?
me: Ya you are?
saleguy: ah I called to inform you that your LP CD is here already.
me: Ya I'm behind you right now.
salesguy: -_-

The free poster is kinda huge. That's my file there for comparison. I can't find any space on my wall to put it up. But it's really good looking, and of good quality as well.

I think the album's really different from LP from previous albums. It's also really diverse, has many different sounds all over the place. But it's still cool. =)

I've been spending the whole night listening to the album and there's a chem test tmr yay!

Aye whatever. There seems to be a problem with blogger at the Create Post page. Anyone has the same problem?

This is also about limits. Reaching them, exploring them, exceeding where you thought yours were. Or maybe, coming to the conclusion that there aren't any.

Limits? What limits?
@ 23:15
I thought the Ironman was pushing the human body to the limits already.

Until I was flipping through Runner's World and found the SPARTATHLON.

Spartathlon is a 246 kilometre (152.85 miles) ultramarathon race held in Greece since 1983 between Athens and Sparta.

THE RACE.

The race starts at 7:00 am, usually on the last Friday each September, at the foot of the Acropolis. It runs out of Athens toward the coast and runs along the coast towards Corinth via Elefsis, Megara, and Kineta. The route reaches the Corinth Canal at 78.5 kilometres and the runners hit the first of six major check points at 81 kilometres.

After Corinth, the race heads toward Ancient Corinth, Nemea, Lyrkia and at 159 kilometres, reaches the top of Mount Parthenio. From there, it continues south toward Nestani and Tegea, before reaching the main Sparta highway just before the 200 kilometer mark.

Runners must pass through 75 checkpoints along the way and each checkpoint has a cut-off time. Runners outside the cut-off may be pulled out of the race although tardiness in the first half of the race is generally tolerated. This tolerance begins to fade after sunset and in the last third of the race, organisers may pull out runners who are either outside the time limit or who display extreme fatigue.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.

In order to run in this race an individual must meet at least one of the following requirements:

1. The individual has finished a race of at least 100 km in less than 10 hours, 30 minutes.
2. The individual has already competed in Spartathlon and has reached the checkpoint "Nestani" ( 172 km ) in less than 24 hours, 30 minutes.
3. The individual has already competed in Spartathlon and reached the finish line.
4. The individual has competed in an event of more than 200 kilometers and has finished the race regardless of the time.

Legend! 246km is like, 615 laps around the track, 103 consecutive 2.4 runs and 6 consecutive full marathons! All the way from Athens to Sparta! (Runners are also required to kiss the statue of King Leonidas, male leading actor of 300 hehe)

Damn legend. Record is 20 hrs 25 mins. Amazing.

Everyday I learn something new.

"The Ironman has always been finishing what you've started, about being able to do what you've set out to do, maybe not as fast as the person in front of you, but certainly faster than the person who never started."

Watching Team Hoyt's videos makes me feel ashamed that I get tired after a 10km run.
